John Doyle

Originally from central IL, John has lived in Athens since 1982. He served in the U.S. Navy for 20+ years with afloat commands USS William M. Wood (DD 715), USS Koelsch (FF 1049), and USS Barney (DDG 6). Upon retiring from the Navy, he has lived in Athens since 1989. John has one son (John), an employee of UGA who is completing his Masters in Horticulture. An Eagle Scout, John has served with the Boy Scouts for over 50 years. He is an active member of the Catholic Center at UGA. John is married to Theresa, a long-term resident of Athens. doylejohnr@gmail.com
