Wendell
(Wen) Williams and his late wife, Betty, are natives of Virginia. Wen was a
Hokie and a Gator before becoming a Bulldog(who would believe it!) in
1968. He worked for several years in marketing research for the US
Department of Agriculture and the Florida Citrus Commission, then taught
Agricultural Economics and served as Associate Dean at The University of
Georgia until his retirement in 1997. During this time, he served 31
years in the Air Force Reserve. Wen and Betty have a son, a daughter
and four grandchildren. He has been a member, and enthusiastic
supporter, of Lions since 1997. |
